I hand painted this box using high quality acrylic paints. The black tone is a stain, meaning it seaps into the wood revealing the beautiful natural wood grain rather than sitting on top of the surface like a paint. The entire box is sealed with a matte varnish to help protect the painting and wood from wear over time! Closes with a rotating brass toned latch
