Elemental Incense Burner with Malachite and Hematite Quartz Crystals

Elemental maple wood incense burner ~ for both sticks and cones ~ with malachite and red hematite included quartz crystals. This is a collaboration between myself, Mystic Earth, and Trevor Hope Pyrography. 

The incense burner was hand carved by Trevor Hope Pyrography from a maple wood branch. It has two holes for stick incense and a metal tray for cone incense. I sculpted wood and foliage adornments holding on the hematite quartz cluster, and around the malachite crystal on the base of the metal tray. I use a high quality polymer clay that is chip resistant. The metal tray is the cone incense holder, as to not burn it directly on the wood. It is completely sealed down with adhesive! The element symbols are painted with acrylic paints. The entire burner is sealed with many layers of a protective gloss varnish to keep it from being damaged by the incense, and also to allow an easy clean up of the ashes. 

The artwork on this incense burner depicts the symbols of the five elements: spirit, air, earth, fire, and water, in that order starting with the circle. 

SIZING: holds incense sticks up to 11" without getting ash on the table. 11.5" total length × 2" wide x 2.75" tall. The incense stick portion is 10" long x 1.5" wide x 0.75" tall. The cone holder is 1.25" x 1.25".

CARE: do not burn incense cones directly onto the wood; place them on the metal tray each time. When dirty, use a dry or damp cloth, wet wipe, or paper towel to clean off the ash. Water is okay to use but don't completely soak it, use sparingly on cloth.
